A martingale is a type of dog collar that provides more control without the choking effect of a slip collar. A martingale is made with two loops. The larger loop is placed onto the dog's neck and a lead is clipped to the smaller loop. When the dog tries to pull, the tension on the lead pulls the small loop taut, which makes the large loop smaller and tighter on the neck, thus preventing escape! Properly adjusted, the collar will be comfortably loose when the dog is not pulling against the leash.

Made with washable poly/cotton fabric and backed with durable nylon webbing, with strong metal hardware and a welded D-ring to attach the lead. 

Available in two widths: 1" (25mm), 1.5" (38mm)

Small: 1" wide (2.5 cm); 11" to 15" (28 cm -38 cm)

Medium: 1" wide (2.5 cm); 15" to 21" (38 cm -53 cm)

Large: 1" wide (2.5 cm); 18" to 26" (46 cm to 66 cm)
